To provide additional instruction to our students, as well as expose them to real-world STEM careers, the team works with outside mentors to provide support across various categories. Mentors are a key part of helping our program grow, expand, and thrive into the future.
Robotics, FIRST, general MechE
Java, Vision Processing, CAD
Sponsorships, Partner Relations
Our mentorship approach
Students are encouraged to work directly with mentors in their fields of interest, who can help students achieve at a higher level and also provide some insight about future career paths and plans post-graduation. Mentors are not asked to give students the "answer", but instead teach them the skills and critical thinking that they will need to tackle problems on their own.
As our program continues to grow, mentors help provide additional support and technical expertise beyond what team members are able to develop on their own, allowing us to take our work product to the next level.
