OUR TEAM
Founded in 2007, the Sacred Heart Robotics team has grown rapidly over the years, and now includes 70+ students from 7th-12th grade. Students compete in both the First Tech Challenge (FTC) and First Robotics Competition (FRC) programs, which introduce students to real-world engineering skills within the framework of different "games" released every year.
Currently, Sacred Heart Robotics is home to the following teams:
FTC: 10023, 13981, 16276, 16283, 16886, 16887, 19896
FRC: 2144
OUR MISSION
More than just competitions, we seek to provide...
Intellectual rigor
Students tackle complicated engineering challenges using real-world problem-solving frameworks
Pre-professional experience
Students are exposed to a variety of tools and techniques, including but not limited to 3D-printing, laser-cutting, welding, and computer-assisted design.
Teamwork and collaboration
Students work with peers from all grade levels, in smaller teams of 5-10 for FTC and in an all-team effort for FRC.
